Obituary Condolences

DEAN W. BOYER passed away on September 27, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Madge; son, Douglas R. Boyer of Houston; daughter, Debbie Graham and husband Jerry, of Danville, VA.; step daughters, Tricia Lunsford of Houston and Leigh Lunsford and husband Marcus of Farmville, VA.; sisters, Verna Buchanan and Onita Davis and husband Ted of Wichita, KS.; nephew, Dale Boyer and wife Bonnie of Packwood, WA.; 12 grandchildren and many other loving family members. Dean is preceded in death by sons, Donald L. Boyer and David C. Boyer and brother, Wilmer Boyer. Dean was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on January 29, 1932. He graduated from Butler High School, Buhler, KS. and served for 4 years in the Naval Reserve. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1958 with a Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for over 40 years, mostly in the Houston area, in the electric power industry. Dean's family would like to thank VITAS Hospice for all the loving care given to him during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice in Dean's honor. A memorial service will be held at the Cypress United Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress N. Houston, on Sunday, October 3rd at 1:00 PM.
