BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BROWN, age 66, passed away on September 24, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rowland and Clara Brown, his sister Mary Jane Busher, his brothers, Richard and Robert Brown, his granddaughter Desiree Brown. Left to cherish his memory are: his sister Janet Cooney and husband Richard from Erie Pennsylvania; sister-in-law Mary Adele Brown from Ohio; Lydia Brown and their sons: Benjamin Michael Brown (Carol), Carleton Joseph Brown (Roberta) and Curtis Lee Brown, Sr. (Tammy), and his grandchildren: Curtis Lee Brown, Jr., Heather Louise Brown, Kendall Lee Brown, and Emma Diane Brown; all from San Antonio,Texas; Priscilla Minster, his daughters Michelle, and Tracy L. Brown; his faithful friend, Lois Carlisle; all from Houston; and hosts of other family members and friends. Ben F. Brown served in the Air Force six years, it was while stationed at Ellington AFB that he met University of Houston student, Lydia Sandoval. They were married September 1, 1956 and three sons were born of this union. This marriage ended in divorce. He then married Priscilla Minster and one daughter was born of this union, this too ended in divorce. Ben worked as an electrician and electrical design draftsman for Brown & Root and Hudson Engineering. He was retired at the time of his death. Seeing that Ben's time on this Earth was complete, the angels came to retrieve his soul. They took him to his heavenly home were his loved ones and the Lord embraced him. May God comfort those still here who loved him. Services will be held on October 2nd, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Arlington National Funeral Home, 5601 Arlington, Houston, Texas 77076.
