Lawrence, Agnes J.
Agnes J. Lawrence, age 94, of 11520 English Lake Rd. Manitowoc, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at her home where she was born and raised.
She was born on September 13, 1918, daughter of the late Ole and Luella (Alfson) Gulikson, granddaughter of the late Rev. Adolph Alfson. On September 20, 1947, Agnes married Harold Lawrence at Grace Lutheran Church in Cato. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2006. Agnes and her husband farmed for many years. She also enjoyed working as a custodian for Rex-Clean of Manitowoc. Agnes loved her doggies and cats.
Survivors include one brother: Harold Gulikson, New Holstein; one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Irma and Harvey Draheim, Reedsville and Arland Lawrence, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by three sisters-in-law: Violet Gulikson, Irene Lawrence and Blondena Borgwardt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, in the Town of Liberty. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gregory Pope with burial to follow at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of Liberty.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty, from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
