Wiensch, Carolgean A.
Carolgean A. Wiensch, age 76, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
She was born on August 24, 1940 in Wausau, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Henry and Ruby (Dellenbach) Durkee. On July 30, 1966, Carolgean married William Wiensch Sr. in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1980.
Survivors include her children: Melissa (Lee) LaRocque, Mishicot, Leonard Wiensch, Oshkosh, William Wiensch Jr., Two Rivers, Timothy (Linda) Wiensch, Oshkosh; one step-son: David (Deb) Wiensch, Merrill; one grandson: Travis (Amy) Cain, Manitowoc; two step-grandchildren: Lesley (Greg) Nemetz, Clintonville and James (Brianne) Madden, Wausau; four great-grandchildren: Owen, Sawyer, Marshall, Zachary; four sisters: Delores Kuik, Two Rivers, Claudia Kennedy, Milwaukee, Irene (Roger) Witz, Mosinee, Joan Zehe, Allenton, Wi; one brother: Roger Durkee, Milwaukee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Arlene Wiensch, Glendale, AZ; Shirley Genrich, Wausau; Randy Henkelman, Wausau; Carol Bliss, Wausau; Gladys & William Dietrich, Mosinee; Darold & Helen Wiensch, Manitowoc; Sharon O'Brien, Ishpeming, MI; Gary & Karen Wiensch, Colorado Springs, CO; Sandy & Tom Jalinski, Leanordtown, MD; Donald & Mary Wiensch, Wausau; and Barb Dietrich, Wausau. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carolgean was preceded in death by her husband; one step-daughter: Cindy Graebel; one brother: Henry Durkee and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Herbert Wiensch, Norman Genrich, Richard Wiensch, Donna Henkelman, Gordy Bliss, James & Betty Wiensch, and Lyle Dietrich.
Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kim Henning.
The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
