Dolores M. Burkart, age 89, a Manitowoc resident, died on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Dolores was born on May 11, 1923 in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late Clemens and Amelia (Riesterer) Endries. On October 3, 1945 she married Leo Burkart at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2010.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Judith and Richard Kornelly, Turner, Maine, Mary and Allan J. Hiller, Sturgeon Bay, Kathleen and Mark R. Seidl, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren: Amy (Scott) Reinertson, Michael Kornelly, Christopher (Jane) Kornelly, Sherry (Eric) Leverance, Kim (Ted) Kallas, Laurie (Scott) Richardson, Bradley (Kathryn) Seidl, Kristina Seidl and fiancé Jared Schwiner; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Loretta Klusmeyer, Manitowoc, Marjorie Bushman, Howards Grove; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Alfred (Butch) and Kathleen Endries, Pipe, WI, Roman and Lenore Endries, Manitowoc, Monica Endries, Chilton; one brother-in-law: Melvin (Joanne) Mueller, St. Nazianz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Rita and Hank Wilke, Jean Mueller, Lee Bushman, Emmet Klusmeyer; and one infant sister: Olive.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Also a very special thank you to Mel and Shirley Ouradnik for being wonderful neighbors. Your care and support for Dolores was greatly appreciated. The family also wishes to thank Dolores' sister Margie for her many visits and constant care.
Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who adored spending time with her family. She enjoyed league bowling, embroidering towels and baking cookies and peanut squares for her family.
