Hurda, Lisa Anne
Lisa Anne Hurda, age 34, a resident of 7112 Reifs Mills Road, Manitowoc entered into eternal life following a five year battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at her residence.
Lisa was born on June 7, 1978 in Manitowoc to Ralph Hurda and the late Mary Hurda. She completed her education at Lincoln High School in 1996. Lisa was an employee of Whitelaw Sausage Company, Wal-mart, and the former Fun-n-Fast Travel Center in Francis Creek. She enjoyed collecting angels and owls, photography, scrapbooking, travelling - especially to rodeos, country music concerts, cooking, reading, storytelling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include Lisa's father: Ralph Hurda; five siblings: Paul (Vickie) Hurda, Chuck (Rhonda) Hurda, Cindy (Chase) Davis, David (Heidi) Hurda, Lance Hurda and special friend Brenda Zietlow, all of the Manitowoc area; close friends of the family: Noah Kiel and Dan Dewane; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and mother: Mary Hurda.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Stegmann will officiate. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Following the memorial service, a social reception with hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
