Kopidlansky, Mary E.
Mary E. Kopidlansky, age 86 of 1500 North 3rd Street, Manitowoc, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Mary was born January 4, 1927 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Vincent and Katherine (Szymczyk) Brefczynski. She married Albert J. Kopidlansky November 26, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death November 9, 1996. Mary was employed at the Chermak Sausage Company for many years until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul.
She is survived by her four sons and daughter-in-laws: Richard (Janice) Kopidlansky, Georgia; Robert (Debbie) Kopidlansky, Whitelaw; Marc (Sue) Kopidlansky, Manitowoc; William (Traci) Kopidlansky, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Katie (Leon) Schultz, Greenleaf; Mary Jo (John) Haese, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Norbert (Carol) Brefczynski, Manitowoc; Gerald (Elaine) Brefczynski, Manitowoc; Walter Brefczynski, Manitowoc; two sisters: Dorothy Schrammel, Milwaukee; Grace Brefczynski, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law: Victor (Diane) Kopidlansky, FL; Paul (Gloria) Kopidlansky, Manitowoc; Judy Denor, Manitowoc; Donna Brefczynski, Manitowoc; Marilyn Brefczynski, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Kopidlansky, two sons: David and Michael Kopidlansky; two brothers: Al Brefczynski; Master Sergeant Edward Brefczynski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Frank (Marge) Kopidlansky; Edward (Pat) Kopidlansky; Joan Kopidlansky; Monica (Norbert) Geiger; Mary (Elmer) Reindl; Leonard Denor; Marge (Isadore) Brandl; Ann Chasensky; Ray Chasensky; Virginia Chasensky; Pat Brefczynski; Don Schrammel; and very special aunt Helen Brefczynski.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St Francis of Assisi Parish-Marshall Site, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Kellnersville. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
