Lesperance, Robert O.
Robert O. Lesperance, age 79, of 2411 34th St. Two Rivers, died Saturday afternoon, January 18, 2014, after a brief illness, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Robert was born April 3, 1934 in Two Rivers, son of the late Oscar J. and Susan (Burns) Lesperance. He attended St. Luke and St. Mark's Grade Schools in Two Rivers and was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School. He then served his country for 4 years as a member of the U.S. Navy
from 1954 - 1958. Bob retired from Hamilton Industries in 1996, where he worked as an inspector/repairman for 44 years. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, and served as a Eucharistic Minister; he was a longtime member of St. Joe's Athletic Club in Two Rivers, and current member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1957 of Two Rivers. Bob was an avid golfer, a huge Cubs and Packer fan; and enjoyed biking, bowling, reading, and visiting with family.
Surviving sisters include: Claire DePrey, Niagra Falls, NY, Lucile Peshek of Manitowoc; along with many nieces, nephews, and many friends. "Uncle" was especially close to his brothers girls: Jan Tolbert, Jeanie Olson, and Laurie Gutzman; and his grand-nephews, Mordecar & Matthew Tolbert. Bobby was a wonderful brother to his sister, Lucile, visiting with her every week, until his illness.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terence Lesperance and his wife, Lorraine; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Beatrice (Gerald) Naidl, Pearline (Robert) Bauers; brothers-in-law, Joe DePrey and Paul Peshek; and an infant niece, Gail.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Military graveside rites will be accorded at the church immediately following the mass by members of the American Legion Post #165 and VFW
Post #1248 of Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no visitation held this evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

Bobby was a loving link between extended family members. He knew where all his siblings children were and was there to help out whenever necessary.
