Nate, Timothy P.
On Friday, November 9, 2012, Timothy P. Nate was taken unexpectedly to heaven at the age of 58.
Tim was born on July 19, 1954 to Thomas and Dotsie (Dugan) Nate. He was raised in Maple Grove on the family farm, and was a graduate of both St. Patrick's Grade School and Reedsville High School. He then went on to get his apprenticeship and worked at Miron Construction for the last 33 years with Wisconsin Millwright Union. Tim married Debbie Haelfrisch on August 16, 1975. They were true soul mates. They went on to raise three children, who were the light of Tim's life.
Tim most enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially loved to be with his six grandchildren. You could see the joy in his eyes when the kids ran to hug their "Papa." Tim was an avid sportsman. He always looked forward to going hunting with the boys at H.S.F.L . deer camp. Tim coached football, basketball, and baseball for many years and still loved to go support his local teams. He did charity work for many local organizations, including making chicken booyah (not soup) for Menchalville Fire Department and Whitelaw Sportsman's Club. He still prized working the land at his family farm with his brother and carrying on his dad's legacy.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; his three children, Chad (Kelly) Nate, Michael (Heather) Nate, and Lea Ann Nate (fiancée Rick Laabs); his six grandchildren Sophia and Joey Barrington-Nate and Natalie, Dawson, Ava, and Brody Nate. He is also survived by his mom Dotsie Nate; his siblings, Pat (Lynn) Nate and Debbie (David) Bauknecht and his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Sandra (Gary) Luedtke, Rosemary (Lawrence) Zutz, Jim (Paula) Haelfrisch, Tom (Chris) Haelfrisch, and Larry (Monica) Haelfrisch. He will be remembered fondly by many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and family friends. Tim truly touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Tom Nate; his mother and father-in-law Frederick and Marian Haelfrisch and special friend, Pat Fenlon.
