Valeria "Val" Valleskey(1929 - 2014)



Valeria "Val" Valleskey, age 84, formerly of Brillion, entered eternal life in Heaven on Saturday June 7, 2014. The daughter of Hugo and Almira (Behnke)Zutz was born in Manitowoc County on July 26, 1929. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and was a 1947 graduate of Brillion High School. Val was employed at Henry Carstens & Sons Elevator, Brillion Cleaners, Ariens Company and Dean Foods. She did volunteer work at Trinity Lutheran School Library for many years. Val was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion. On April 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Milton Valleskey. Milton preceded her in death on May 1, 1998. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Bill Hoeltke of Manitowoc, a brother Hugo (Joan) Zutz of Brillion, sister Betty (David) Karr of Appleton, 2 brother-in-laws Harold Valleskey of Manitowoc, Ken (Elsie )Valleskey of Lehigh Acres, Florida, many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Val enjoyed crafts and was a perfectionist at the ceramics she painted. She was an excellent baker and cook. Val loved the outdoors, camping, birds, gardening, and flowers. Elvis and Polka music were her favorites. She traveled throughout the United States with her family in their VW Camper. She loved the dogs and cats that shared her life.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 601 E. National Avenue, Brillion, WI. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Tom Fricke will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion
