Dear Janet and the Matthias family, Janet, I hope you know how much you and Ed meant to Burt and I. Meeting you in Nashville, TN was one of God's blessings to us. It has been over 20 years and we shared many wonderful times with you. Burt would always be eager to travel and visit you dear folks, even when he was ill. I remember the last visit when we played dominoes. I forgot who won, but we sure had fun. Ed looks very dapper with his mustache.
The world will be less without ED. May your many fond memories help to lessen the grief you have.
Love, Jean and Michele

I am sorry to hear of your loss. He was a good man and was kind to me. I remember after my mother died, he and Janet were the first ones to come to our house. I remember the day she died he came in the house crying, and gave me a hug. We both stood in the hallway of our house just hugging each other and crying. Rest in peace Uncle Eddie, I know you were saved and sharing in the Glory of Christ now. Remember those who are trusting Christ never really say goodbye, just see you later.
