Dax, Roland "Rollie" Michael Jr.

Roland Michael Dax, age 55, of Necedah, Wisconsin, formerly of Two Rivers, passed away July 28, 22011 at his residence.

Rollie was born June 10, 1956 in Two Rivers, son of Virgiely (Roberts) Dax and the late Roland V. Dax of Two Rivers. Rollie graduated in 1974 from Washington High School in Two Rivers. He was a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team. Rollie went on to graduate from Oshkosh in 1978 with a degree in Art and Business. He was an avid outdoorsman and received his Eagle Scouts Award in 1972. Rollie worked for Koeppel Fur and Trade and was a partner with Koeppel Realty.

Survivors include his mother, Virgiely Dax,Two Rivers; two brothers: Bryan and Denise Dax, Keith and Michelle Dax, both of Two Rivers: eight sisters: Debbie and Mike Limandri, Florida; Diana Dax, Texas; Cindy Walters, Two Rivers; Laure and Randy Nickels, Sandy and Tim Broderick, both of Florida; Jolene and David Kavoosi, Terri Dax, both of Two Rivers; and Brenda Turner, Greenfield. Rollie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rollie is preceded in death by one sister: Mary Rathsack and his father: Roland Dax, Sr. formerly of Two Rivers.

Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family extends a special thank you to Klein & Stangel Funeral Home for their assistance.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Rollie in high school; I don't think he had a bad word to say about anyone, ever. I remember his humor, intelligence, and kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
