Aurelia E.(Tootie) Klein, age 100, a resident at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died on Sunday morning, May 6, 2012 at the Center.

She was born on October 2, 1911 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Kolway) Pankratz. Tootie attended schools in the Reedsville area. On June 5, 1935 she married Ralph G. Klein at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1985. Tootie was a member of the St. Theresa Society at the former St. Andrew Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
Survivors include six sons and daughters-in-law: Ralph and Rita Klein, Daniel and Nancy Klein, Thomas and Karen Klein, James and Mary Klein, Peter and Kay Klein, all of Manitowoc, Joseph Klein and Debbie Jenkins, Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one grandson: Todd A. Klein; one sister and brother-in-law: Lucille and Eldred Herrmann; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Sherman and Florence Pankratz and Glenn Pankratz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM
