Bruce Musial, 70, Green Bay, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Unity's Jack and Engrid Meng Residence.
He was born November 30, 1942 in Manitowoc, to the late Erwin and Generva (Messmann). Bruce graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961. From 1963 to 1966, Bruce served in the Army, stationed in Korea, receiving an education in electrical engineering. On September 18, 1965, he married Rosie Mc Connell and they raised two children. Bruce worked as an Electrical Engineer at channels 11 and 2, finishing his career with channel 26 in 2006, where he was instrumental in enhancing the transmitters' capabilities.
Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family, (especially watching his children and grandchildren play sports), reading, talk radio, cheering on the New York Yankees, eating banana cream pie, working on cars, and the occasional blueberry shake from Zesty's.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Rosie; daughter, Kristin Musial, Appleton; son, Mitchell (Pam) Musial, De Pere; grandchildren, Mitchell "Deuce" II, and Peyton "P", both of De Pere; three brothers, Dennis (Mary Ann), Manitowoc, Todd (Mary Jo), Green Bay, Stan (Lynn), Newton; sister, Sheila (Jack) Wanek, Manitowoc; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Esther Mc Connell; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Jim; and his sister-in-law, Rita Mc Connell.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Ann Froelich officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
