David "Spook" Schmoock, age 48, of 822 South 25th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Dave was born on December 21, 1964 in Two Rivers, WI. He was the son of Paul Schmoock and the late Ursula Zinn Schmoock. Dave attended Mishicot High School and graduated with the class of 1983. He continued his education at Lakeshore Technical College where he studied working on diesel engines for two years. Dave was employed with Dean Brennan Transport for 20 years and for the past 5 years he was employed with Schenian Trucking Company. On April 25, 1992 he married Lynn Lindholm at Wesley United Methodist Church in Manitowoc. Dave was a member of the Thursday night bowling league at Meadow Lanes North, enjoyed golfing every Sunday morning with his dad and friends, coached Manitowoc Youth baseball for 8 years, was active as a member and board of director of the Chiefs Football Club, enjoyed hunting with his son and also loved watching football, NASCAR and many other sports. He especially enjoyed watching his son and daughter playing at all of their sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Lynn; daughter: Courtney at home; son: Brandon at home; his father: Paul Schmoock, Maribel, WI; sister: Janet Schmoock and special friend Paula Rasmussen; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Alfred and Donna Lindholm, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Bill (Carol) Lindholm, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Barbara (Jeff) Schulz, Clarks Mills; Ann (Randy) Marx, Branch; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Ursula Schmoock; brother: Paul Schmoock Jr.; sister: Michelle Schmoock.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Guy Corrigall. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
