Emanuel A. Bergelin, age 84, formerly of Two Rivers, currently residing at Shady Lane in Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, July 14, 2012, at Shady Lane.
Emanuel was born November 20, 1927, in Gibson, son of the late Louis and Erna (Plautz) Bergelin. He served with the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956. Emanuel was employed at Burger Boat Company for a number of years and loved to build and create projects for friends, family and other people.
Survivors include one daughter and her mother: Debbie Bergelin, Two Rivers and Martha (Maas) Bergelin, Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Henry Pautz; and sister-in-law: Dorothy Bergelin-Schmoock. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Erna Bergelin; three brothers: Edward Bergelin, Gerald (Arlene) Bergelin, Milton (Margaret) Bergelin; and two sisters: Erana (Clarence) Mier, and Rala Pautz.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joan Frost. Burial will be at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 20, 2012, from 4:00 until 6:45 p.m. at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers.
