Glenn W. Fuerbringer age 76 of 1445 North 8th Street, Manitowoc died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County with his family at his side.

Glenn was born on December 12, 1936 at Watertown, son of the late Louis and Myra (Woltemate) Fuerbringer. He grew up at Jefferson and was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson High School. Glenn served his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard serving from July 27, 1954 until July 24, 1962. On June 24, 1961 he was married to Charlotte Zeman at St Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. On November 27, 1992 Glenn was married to Judith Drumm at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. After his Coast Guard career he worked for various companies in the Lakeshore area. Glenn became the president of Schmidtman School Supply Company and retired as a truck driver working for various trucking companies in the area. He was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. Glenn enjoyed golfing, woodworking, yard work, and especially his family and white German Shepherds.

Survivors include his wife: Judy Fuerbringer, Manitowoc; 6 children: Pamela (Jerry) Jacobs, Walterboro, SC; Glen Vasquez, TX; Derek (Beverly) Fuerbringer, Madison; Kevin Fuerbringer, Edgerton and his special friend Wendy Stoeckler; Lisa Fuerbringer, Manitowoc; Jill (Cornel) Eis, Two Rivers; mother of his children: Charlotte Fuerbringer, Two Rivers; 13 grandchildren: Paul; Richard; Tiffany; Diane; Raymond; John; Dianne; Jennifer; Shawndie; Tabatha; Christopher; Amber; and Lindsey; 14 great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Bruce (Shelly) Fuerbringer, Eau Claire; Mary Fuerbringer, West Bend; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay (Fred) Leonard, Hot Springs, Arkansas; Jean (Russ) Bass, Stoughton; mother-in-law: Elaine Drumm, Manitowoc; 4 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Marilyn (Terry) Tuschel, Manitowoc; Butch (Lynn) Drumm, Manitowoc; Carol (Arvid) Green, Albertville, MN; Roger (Debbie) Drumm, Green Bay; and his beloved dog: Nikki; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Myra Fuerbringer; one brother: Neil Fuerbringer; and his father-in-law: Gerald Drumm.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 916 Pine Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Schossow and Rev. Nicholas Maglietto will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the Fuerbringer family with funeral arrangements.
