Howard Decker, age 82, of 1816 13th Street, Two Rivers, WI entered eternal life Thursday, February 14, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side.
Howard was born March 16, 1930 in Lotts Creek, Iowa. He was the son of the late William and Hazel Spurgeon Decker. Howard farmed in the Whitelaw area until 1971. He returned to Iowa for a couple of years and then returned to Mishicot and became employed with Formrite Company in Two Rivers from where he retired in 1990. On September 14, 1952 he married Yvonne Frombach in Algona, Iowa. She preceded him in death in March 1971. He later married Patricia Miles on October 4, 1972 at Elk Point, South Dakota.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Patricia; children: Debbie (George) Terrill, Rising Sun, MD; Randy (Lori) Decker, Peach Tree City, GA; Karen (Jeff) Edwards, Rose Hill, NC; Ronda (Kevin) Myren, Eleva, WI; Linda (Fran) Tomczuk, Fishers, IN; Billie Jo (Mark) Maedke, Two Rivers, WI; Charlie (Tara) Neville, Two Rivers, WI; Ricky Decker, Two Rivers, WI; Dale (April) Decker, Two Rivers, WI; thirty seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two brothers: Walter (June) Decker, Florida; Dwight (Judy) Decker, Algona, Iowa; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Hazel Decker; one daughter: Debra Cadle; one brother in infancy: William Decker, Jr.; another brother: Harold Decker; one sister: Sharon Christianson; one great grandson: Austin.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Todd Lanman. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 until the time of services at 6:00 p.m. Following the funeral services there will be a luncheon held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
