Bachert, Judith D.

Judith Diane Bachert, of 601 N 5th St. Manitowoc, beloved and loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest on April 15, 2013 surrounded by family.

Daughter of Grace and Fletcher (Percival) Clem, she was born on August 21, 1934 and grew up in Centralia Illinois, and later attended nurses training in Springfield, where she met and married Robert Bachert. The two worked together at Carl Clinic in Champaign Urbana, before moving to Oshkosh, Wisconsin where they lived and worked for over 25 years, raising a family, then later moving to Manitowoc. She has three sons; John, Doug, and Alan. She will be remembered for her community and charitable work as a member and past president of the Oshkosh Jaycettes, working for MDA, Cerebral Palsy, Miss Oshkosh and Miss Wisconsin Pageants, her support of various humane societies, and religious charities, her hard work and devotion as a beloved and loving daughter, wife and mother, and her strong faith.

She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved son John, and survived by her husband Robert and sons Doug and Alan, and grandsons Joshua and Nicholas.

Services were held on Thursday April 18, 2013 at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
