Pribyl, LaVerne

LaVerne Mariann Pribyl, 82, Green Bay, died peacefully, Friday, October 12, 2012, at a local nursing home. Born in Coleman, March 23, 1930, she is the daughter of the late Hubert and Elizabeth (Heil) Bartels. Laverne married Alvin Pribyl November 13, 1954, at St. Patrick's Church in Green Bay and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2010. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay in Orthopedics for many years. LaVerne was a longtime member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was very devoted to doing her rosary.

She is survived by eight children, Patricia (Eugene) Phillips, Gary (Hilarie Rath) Pribyl, Karen (Wayne) Schott, Theresa Rich, Michael (Yvonne) Pribyl, David Pribyl, Kathleen (Mark) Wendricks, and Ann (Patrick) Smith; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; godchild, Joan Dingeldein; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Lennon Rich; brother, Donald (Generose) Bartels; sister, Delores Bartels.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Green Bay, Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral at 11:00 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Green Bay with Deacon Mike Vincent officiating.
