Duveneck, Mary J.

Mary J. Duveneck, age 77, of 915 South 30th Street, Manitowoc, died on Wednesday morning, January 16, 2013 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Mary was born on February 1, 1935 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Helen Schwarz. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. On June 19, 1954 she married Leroy J. Duveneck at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Northeim, WI. Mary was employed with Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc for many years as a unit clerk until her retirement. She was a member of a card club for over 35 years and especially enjoyed playing cribbage. She also enjoyed participating in G.N.O. (Girls Night Out) with her home town friends and was involved in league bowling for many years.

Survivors include her husband: Leroy J. Duveneck, Manitowoc; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Debra and James Kuehnl, Manitowoc, Diane and Mark Anderson, Two Rivers, Donna and Steve Dueno, Manitowoc, Cheryl and special friend Butch, Pine Island, MN; five grandchildren: Jesse Kuehnl, Jaime (Jason) Cherney, Adam (Missy) Fogltanz, Christopher Lang, Cory Lang and special friend Justin; six great grandchildren: Megan, Jackson, Kenley, Mason, Amaya and Bentley; three sisters-in-law: Dorothy Nack, Janet Pribek and LuAnne Duveneck, all of Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by one great grandson: Jacob Cherney; and three brothers-in-law: Elmer Nack, Donald Pribek and Robert Duveneck.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Brian Staude with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
