Robert P. "Capt. Bob" Potosnyak, age 70, of 2106 - 14th St. Two Rivers, died Friday evening, June 8, 2012 at his residence.

Bob was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 24, 1942 to the late Paul and Helen Anita (Schmidhofer) Potosnyak, and attended Milwaukee area schools. He served in Vietnam, with the U.S. Marine Corp. from March 28, 1961 to June 30, 1965. After moving to Two Rivers, Bob opened the first Subway Restaurant in the city, and was also a Charter Boat Captain out of Two Rivers. He was an avid Wisconsin Badger & NASCAR fan; he enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include Bob's Soul-Mate of 16 years, Marie Kahlenberg of Two Rivers; Marie's daughter, Nikki Kahlenberg of Two Rivers - "Bob's Little Buddy"; Marie's sons, Bill and Richie Kahlenberg of Land O' Lakes; two grandchildren, Emily & Carter Kahlenberg. He is further survived by special friends: Kelli, Kari, Jason, and first mate, Steve Wagner; and his daughter, Raquel Marie.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 - 18th St. Two Rivers. Cremation has taken place.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, after 12:30 p.m. Friday until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
