Daley, Thomas B.

Thomas B. Daley, 77, Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, November 1, 2012, at Manitowoc Health Care & Rehab Center surrounded by his family. Tom was born March 29, 1935 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Margaret (Marlbourgh) Daley. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. Tom enlisted in the United States Army and served his country four years in Korea and Japan. After his discharge, he married Marion (Wenzel) Daley on November 14, 1959 in Oshkosh. He then entered the sales profession in the Manitowoc area as a Fuller Brush salesman and Greenwood's Appliance Store, retiring in 2002 as manager at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.

Tom enjoyed cottage life, gardening, boating, was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a long-time member of St. Francis of Assisi Church - Waldo site. Tom had a great sense of humor, very proud of his Irish heritage, always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile for everyone.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marion; four sons, Scott Daley, Manitowoc; Lee (Cheryl) Daley, Appleton; Timothy Daley, San Diego, CA; Chris (Lynn) Daley, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Jordyn, Morgan, Brenna and Brennon Daley; two brothers, Patrick (Gail) Daley, Green Bay; Michael (Mary) Daley, Green Bay; two sisters, Rita Tittl, Manitowoc; Diane (Tom) Wiedel, Oak Creek; six brothers-in-law, Tony Roberts, Manitowoc, Loren (Jay) Kenefick, Riverside, CA, Douglas (Karen) Wenzel, Oshkosh, Richard (Jane) Wenzel, Oshkosh, William (Bonnie) Wenzel, Appleton, Ronald (Eunice) Wenzel, Aurora, IL. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Margery Roberts; brother-in-law, Fritz Tittl; two sisters-in-law, Carol Kenefick and Susan Wenzel.

Visitation will take place Sunday, November 4, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home & Crematory, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Waldo Boulevard, Manitowoc, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon with the Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Full military honors will follow. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Tom's name.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you for the kind and compassionate care Tom received from the entire staff of Changing Seasons at Manitowoc Health Care & Rehab Center. A special thank you to Rosemary for the care and concern during Tom's last hours.
