Lambries, William (Bill) Lee

William (Bill) Lee Lambries, MSgt. USAF Ret., of Las Vegas, NV, was born in Manitowoc, WI, December 29, 1953 and entered into God's Kingdom March 29, 2013, after courageously battling cancer. Bill's loves were God, Family and Country. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and proudly served in the United States Air Force from May 1975 to May 1995. He served at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; Sembach, Germany; Seoul, Korea; and Langley, AFB Virginia. His most proud assignment was being selected for the Stealth Fighter Program at Tonopah Test Range in September 1988. When the top secret Stealth was finally unveiled and moved to New Mexico in 1992, Bill became the First Sergeant of the Mike Ocallaghan Federal Hospital in Las Vegas, where he served out his final Air Force assignment. Throughout his Air Force career he met many people, received numerous awards and held close to his heart many cherished friends from his Air Force family. You could never know a more honorable and proud patriot.

After Air Force retirement, Bill began another career in the convention industry as an On-Site Supervisor for many trade shows throughout the country. The word "perfectionist" comes to mind. Time management was a must .... the show must go on and everything must be perfect down to the last detail. Here again, he met many friends who meant the world to him. These friendships along with the Air Force family stand the test of time. They will never fade.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Eugene "Bud' Lambries.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Lambries; daughters, Stacey (Josh) Lambries, Angela (Jason) Lambries-Lopez, Laura (Calvin) Oliveria, Heather Lambries; mother, Gail Haucke; brothers, Matt (Renee) Lambries, Mike (Kathy) Lambries, Paul "PJ' Hutterer; sisters, Laurie (Scott) Musial, Kristin (Steve) Sullivan; grandsons, Dylan, Christian, Jesse; granddaughters, Kayla, Avery, Eliza.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday April 6, at the Church of Christ, 2626 N. Martin L. King Blvd., N. Las Vegas, NV 89032. Minister Leo G. Gay will be officiating.

An alternative to sending flowers would be to make a donation in Bill's name to Pancan.org.

Bill volunteered much of his free time to help others in need, making this world a better place. It is only fitting to end by saying Bill touched everyone he came in contact with. His love and kindness were beyond belief. Bill would want to share a remark from his Grandmother and say to you all "Oceans Of Love With A Kiss On Each Wave!!"
