Gloria Heyduk Kopidlansky, age 75, 1303 North 9th Street, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc surrounded by her loving family.
Gloria was born on March 5, 1939 in Town of Cato, daughter of the late Erwin and Emily (Pingel) Wiegert. Gloria attended school in Valders and graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1957. On February 1, 1958 she married Thomas Heyduk. He preceded her in death in 1986. On September 2, 2007 Gloria married Paul Kopidlansky. She worked as an office manager for Wisconsin Fuel and Light for many years. Gloria enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, traveling the U.S. with Paul, and shopping with her sister Judy. She was an active member of St. Johns United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband: Paul Kopidlansky, Manitowoc; four children: Jacque (Larry) Reimer, Manitowoc; Randi (Cathrine) Heyduk, Manitowoc; Jeff Heyduk and his special friend Pam Gates, Manitowoc; Rob (Lynn) Heyduk, Manitowoc; six step-children: Jeff, Mary, Jean, Terese, Paul Jr. and Jay; six grandchildren: Jared, Chelsea, Brittany, Becky, Tyler and Kaitlin Heyduk; five step-grandchildren: Jessica, Abby, Dallas, Nicole and Jason; three great grandsons: Connor, Aiden and Becket; one great granddaughter: Ellys; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Ronnie (Carol) Wiegert, Manitowoc; Darrell (Caryl) Wiegert, Manitowoc; Doris Wiegert, Manitowoc; one sister: Judy Wrolson, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Ellie Heyduk, Manitowoc; Judy Denor, Manitowoc; Vic (Diane) Kopidlansky, Chicago, nieces, nephews other relatives and many special friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Erwin and Emily Wiegert; her first husband: Thomas Heyduk; one brother: Gary Wiegert; one daughter-in-law: Kathleen Heyduk; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 1501 Marshall Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Dr. Jim Klein will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the family.
