Collins, Madeline M.

Madeline M. Collins age 94, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Parkview Manor in Green Bay.

Madeline was born January 27, 1920, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Desire and Agnes (Nagle) Jacquart. She attended Washington High School in Two Rivers and was employed at Schwartz Mfg. Company retiring at the age of 70. In 1945 she married John Collins and he preceded her in death. Madeline enjoyed the times she spent with her favorite aunt and uncle, Pat and Christy Christensen, and good friends, Ethelyn and Richard Thomas, all of whom preceded her in death. Over the years Madeline made several good friends from work and enjoyed their lunch and dinner get-togethers. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Madeline resided in Two Rivers until 2004 when she moved to McCormick Home in Green Bay and then to Parkview Manor.

She is survived by her son: Patrick J. Collins and his wife Sharyn (Bauers); two grandsons, Christopher and his wife Beth and their two sons, Matthew and Benjamin; Scott and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Soleil and son Ty; and one granddaughter: Kathryn Pulley and her husband Christopher. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a,m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service is Father Kevin Collins. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Madeline's name to any Alzheimer's foundation would be appreciated.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at McCormick Home and Parkview Manor who all gave great care to our mother over the years, who suffered from the debilitating disease of Alzheimer's. Thanks also to Unity Hospice who gave her comforting care in her final days.
