Rest in peace, dear Teacher. I have many fond memories of home ec classes with you, the trip to Chicago for the Home Ec Professionals convention and meeting John Naisbitt there. Lately I have been remembering the field trips to Mirro and your work testing the electric cookware -- especially the rice cooker! Through the years you enriched and touched the lives of countless people more than you knew. Bless you.

Yes, rest in peace Sr virginette! I remember the sewing classes i followed with her too at silver lake. What painstaking precision and care she took! And lots of patience with me. Another icon of the college has passed away.

WOW!! 95 .. My friends and I started college life at HFC 50 years ago and Sr. taught all my Home Ec friends. We still remember her EVERY evening when we decide if Sr. would approve of the color presentation on our plates. Really .. we do!!! RIP Sr. Virginette.
