Cope, Norman S.

Norman S. Cope, age 55, a Manitowoc resident, died peacefully at Holy Family Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Our loving brother and friend, Norm was born on May 31, 1958 in Two Rivers, son of the late George and Lorna Cope. Norm was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers and later graduated from N.W.T.C of Green Bay. He was employed at K.I. in Manitowoc for 25 years as a Maintenance Technician. Norm enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, snowmobiling, and hiking.

Survivors include three sisters and one brother: Dawn (Randy) Cope Carspecken, Hyannis MA; his twin sister: Bonny (Joe) Bitto, Two Rivers; Dave (Peggy) Cope, Denmark; Pam (Phil) James, De Pere; two nieces and two nephews: Ben and Bryan Bitto, Emily and Madeline James. He is also survived by Brenda Taddy and stepson, Ozzy Corrales. Norm was preceded in death by his parents, and stepson, Max Corrales.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home in Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Jim Rasmus. Norm will be cremated at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and burial will be at Forest View Cemetery at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Critical Care Unit at Holy Family Memorial Hospital and to Brenda Taddy and Steve Gilmer for all of their love and support. Norm was a wonderful, caring person that will be missed by many.
