She served as Eucharistic minister to those in nursing homes and assisted living homes and was an avid volunteer with a smile and kind word for everyone.

Dorie loved playing cards, camping, traveling, attending shows, spending time at Pigeon Lake, Little Sturgeon and Harbor Village, and serving others. Dorie loved spending time with her good friends. She loved with all her heart their 5 children, their spouses, her 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
