Hochkammer, Howard William

Howard William Hochkammer, age 93, of Two Rivers, entered eternal life on June 10, 2014.

Howard was born on August 3, 1920, in Newton, a son of the late Henry and Ella (Reichwaldt) Hochkammer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre from 1942 until he was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1946. On April 30, 1949, he married Marjorie Thomas. Howard was in the grocery business for many years and was also a Real Estate Salesman and an Auctioneer.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years: Marjorie Hochkammer, Two Rivers; a daughter: Peggy (Jerry) Weyer, Manitowoc; a son: Perry (Diane L.) Hochkammer, Osage Beach, Missouri; five grandchildren: Melissa (Dennis) Riemer, Jessica Weyer, Brock Weyer, Andrew and Adam Hochkammer; two step grandchildren: Ashley and Kelsey Fagan; and two great grandchildren: Mikayla and Hailey Reimer. He is further survived by two sisters: Elda Hackmann and Delores (Gustav) Stock; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Elmer (Mary) Hochkammer and two sisters: LaVern (Orville) Karstaedt and Florence (Arthur) Luebke and a brother-in-law: Alfred Hackman.

According to Howard's wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services being held.
