Posvic, Dolores Rose

Dolores Rose Posvic, 85, Green Bay, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was born March 11, 1929, in Denmark, WI to Stephen and Ellen Rosik. On April 24, 1948, she married Harold Posvic at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Stangelville. Dolores had been employed at Baker Boy and at St. Agnes Parish. She enjoyed making and selling crafts. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and going to the casino. Dolores was very involved with the Senior Center and helped run the Bingo program for many years.

Survivors include four children, Dale and Lynn Posvic, Suamico; Roy (Kim) Posvic, Windsor, CO; Carl Posvic, Green Bay; Jane and Amy Posvic, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Kayla and Jordan Posvic; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Norma and Willie Habeck, Manitowoc; Adeline Wisneski, Green Bay; Anna Grenier, Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2006; a sister, Stacia Micoliczyk; a brother, Steve Rosik; two brothers-in-law, Larry Grenier, Leonard Wisneski.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. The Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Stangelville. To send online condolences, please go to
