Eisenmann, Frederick C.
Frederick C. Eisenmann, age 97, of 878 Randolph St., Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Hamilton Care Center of Two Rivers. Frederick was born February 25, 1917, on the Mueller family farm in rural Mishicot, to the late Adolph and Alice Mueller Eisenmann and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a 1937 graduate of the Mishicot High School. Frederick married the former Hazel Puta June 1, 1946, at St. James, St. John's Lutheran Church in Reedsville. He served his country in the United States Army in the 5th Red Bull Division serving in the Battles of North Africa and Italy. He survived the vicious Battle of Monte-Cosino in Italy, where over 5000 men gave their lives. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and four battle stars. His life's work was wood working, making cabinets and building furniture. Frederick was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mishicot, and served on the church council. He was also a member of the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger-Terens Post # 7753. He and his wife, Hazel enjoyed many years of traveling.
Frederick is survived by his loving wife: Hazel, nieces and nephews, and by his special friends, Pastor David and Ellie Waege and family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin and Kenneth Eisenmann, and by one sister, Pauline Weiss.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot, with the Reverend Robert Johannes officiating, with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of service at 11 a.m. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Mishicot VFW Kempen-Staudinger- Terens Post # 7753. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting with funeral arrangements.
