Marvin D. Orde, age 78, of 864 Itchy Acre Lane, Reedsville, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Marvin was born Sept. 3, 1933, in Humbolt, Wis., son of the late Prosper and Adele (Vanloo) Orde. He married Marion Wortiska on June 8, 1968, in Algoma, Wis.
Marvin was employed with Krueger Lumber Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. Marvin was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed bowling, pool and spending many hours woodworking.
Survivors include his wife: Marion Orde, Reedsville; his children: Nikki and Reggie Baudhuin, Brussels; Judy and Richard Sheffer, Manitowoc; Jane and Larry VanDenElzen, Seymour; Jason Orde, Reedsville; Jessica and Jason Cornette, Forestville; three grandchildren: Shane Sheffer, Jared and Kristi VanDenElzen; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert and Bernadine Orde, Howards Grove; Jim and Shirley Orde, Kewaunee; one sister-in-law: Grace Orde, Sturgeon Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Marvin was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, three sisters and two brothers-in-law.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Jim Rasmus. Entombment of the cremated remains will be held at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders, from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, and All-Care Cremation Center is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, for the care and compassion they extended to Marvin and his family.
