Dear Julie and Inga,
We are so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother.
Please know our thoughts and prayers have been with you at this very sad time, and will continue as you go forward without her. I spent many afternoons with Lucy at Inga's tennis practices and meets. She was a pleasure to speak with and her love and admiration for both of you was obvious. Yes, she was dedicated to you both. May many happy memories carry you through.
With love and friendship, Kathy & Jim, Julia & Alec

What a beautiful and active woman Lucy was. She loved more than anything else her children, and Julie is a wonderful daughter. She was most happy with Julie and Inga. In spirit she lives in all who knew her, pushing us on to be happy and live the rest of our lives in her memory. Family first her motto. Love, Debbie (as she remembers me)

Dear Julie and Inga,
Don and I spent a lovely day with you and your dear Lucy at Christmas last year. She was a delight to be with. I even asked if she wanted to learn to play Mah Jongg and that I would teach her. I thought that way I could get to know her better. Actually, I did give you all a lesson, and Lucy seemed to catch on pretty quickly. Anyway, she seemed up to just about anything our little gathering wanted to do. What a cool lady! Love and Hugs, Sharon and Don

Death is nothing at all. I have only
Slipped away into the next room.
Whatever we were to each other,
we still are. Call me by my old
familiar name. Speak to me in the
same easy way you always have.
Laugh as we always laughed at the
little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it always was. There
is absolute unbroken continuity. Why
should I be out of your mind because
I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an
interval, somewhere very near, just
around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is past. Nothing
has been lost. One brief moment
and all will be as it was before-------
only better. Infinitely happier. We
will be one, together forever.
Julie, this was a passage that helped me get through the dark days when I was missing my parents!

Lucy will be forever in my mind & heart. My sister, Sandy & I going with you to Harpts Lake on many big adventures. Sleep-overs that ran late into the night with special snacks. Playing Barbies in your livingroom. She was always there to add life and imagination to our adventures. I'm very happy that she was able to pass on our girlhood memories to her grand-daughter. Thank You Lucy (Julie's Mom)

How does someone say goodbye to such a lovely lady as Lucy? There are no words to express such a feeling of loss...but memories are what stay in our hearts and minds. And I have nothing but good memories of Lucy. I enjoyed visiting with her at West Palm. She had such spunk and reminded me a lot of my own mother. She was witty and quick to laugh. She made me feel welcome and cared for. She had a kind soul and displayed it with her care, concern, and loving gestures especially to the light of her life, Inga. I am deeply saddened at her loss but take comfort in knowing that she is now again in the arms of her loving husband, Keith.
