Jacalyn "Jacky" M. Komoroski, a very social, strong, caring and loving person, of Sheboygan passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the age of 61.
Jacky was born on July 13, 1951 in Wausau, a daughter of Rodney and Virginia (Stuplich) Wendland. She graduated from D.C. Everest High School in Schofield and then attended UW-Madison. On September 3, 1971 she was united in marriage to John Komoroski in Pine City, MN. She had been employed at Thomas Industries. Jacalyn enjoyed to read, swim, play bingo and visit casinos.
Jacky is survived by her husband, John "Jack"; a son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Brenda Komoroski of Sheboygan; her father Rodney Wendland of Wausau; her sisters, Jill (Bucky) Shimulunas of Two Rivers and their children, Christopher, Cory (Paula) and Chad (Kathy) Shimulunas and Barb (Fran) Houseye of Sheboygan and their daughter Amanda Houseye. She is further survived by Taylar and Aleyna, whom she considered her grandchildren; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Virginia and Orin Stachovak.
A memorial service for Jacky will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 3 at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Reifenberg officiating. Family and friends gathering prior to the service from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home, 1535 S. 12 St.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name.
