Clarence J. 'Buddy' Tadych, Jr., age 71, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday morning, January 3, 2013 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, surrounded by his loving family.
Buddy was born on September 29, 1941 in Manitowoc, son of Bernice (Segerson) Tadych and the late Clarence J. Tadych Sr. Clarence was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1960. On June 23, 1978 he married the former Doreen Novak in Manitowoc. Buddy was employed in the malt house at Anheuser - Busch retiring after 30 years. He loved hunting and fishing, especially with his son. Clarence also enjoyed spending time on the lake with his dad in his boat "Bullfrog". He loved his "Bud" and also enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos.
Survivors include his wife: Doreen Tadych, Manitowoc; his mother: Bernice Tadych, Manitowoc; two sons and a special daughter-in-law: Chris & Amanda Tadych, Manitowoc, Timothy McDougall, Appleton; two daughters and a son-in-law: Tammy McDougall, Manitowoc, Terri Sue & Chad Piontek, Illinois; three grandchildren: Brad, Ronan, Leo; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Jeff & Diana Tadych, Manitowoc, Gertie Tadych, Manitowoc; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Bernice "Jeanie" Tadych, Louise Gomm, Sara & Louis Hranicka, all of Manitowoc. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Clarence J. Tadych Sr.; a brother: Chester Tadych; his mother-in-law: Clara Novak; a brother-in-law: Elton Gomm and his special beast: Nakita.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m Sunday, January 6, 2013. Friends may also call Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
