Schrimpf Holt, JoAnn
JoAnn Schrimpf Holt, of Navasota, formerly of Manitowoc, WI, was born April 13, 1943 to the late Joseph and Esther Manlick Schrimpf in Manitowoc , and died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at her home. She graduated in 1961 from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and worked for Stangel Hardware. She then worked at Marquette University, UCLA, and the University of Pennsylvania. JoAnn began a career with GMAC in Milwaukee which later took her to Ft. Lauderdale, FL and to Houston. She retired from GMAC in 1996 and became a funeral director assisting her husband in the management of Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Grant of Navasota; son of the heart, Drew Stackhouse and wife Denise and grandsons, Camden and Patrick; sister, Judy Schrimpf Pamperin and husband Keith of Green Bay; niece and nephew, Jane Pamperin of Minneapolis, MN and Jared Pamperin and wife Michelle and their children, Tyler and Emma, of New London, WI. A vigil service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Navasota with a Funeral Mass to follow 10:30 am Wednesday.
