Amber A. Fischer, age 91, formally of Elkhart Lake, died Tuesday, March 05, 2013 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth.
She was born in Van Dyne, WI on May 29, 1921 daughter of the late Erich and Nellie (Kind) Kulibert.
She attended the Van Dyne Grade School, graduating from the Fond du Lac Goodrich High School in 1939. After graduating she worked for the Tobin Tool and Die Company in Fond du Lac.
She married Louis E. Fischer on January 20, 1945 at the Episcopal Cathedral in Fond du Lac. They moved to Two Rivers, WI and made their home there. She worked for twenty three years in the office of Dr. D. A. Kuljis. After retirement they moved to Elkhart Lake.
Amber was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Ladies Guild. She belonged to the Elkhart Lake Study Club and the Elkhart Lake Food and Fellowship.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Staum of Elkhart Lake, son Robert L. Fischer of Two Rivers, grandchild Sarah (Josh) Tegen of Elkhart Lake, two great grandchildren Alyssa and Abigail, sister Doloris Kuehn of Oshkosh, and many dear nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers Leslie, Ira, Merlin, Chester, and Ivan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2013 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Plymouth with Mother Marie Grace officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
The family wishes that memorials be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Amber's name.
