Alice M. (Duprey) Gauthier, age 79, a resident of Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013 at the Center.

Alice was born on March 29, 1933 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late William and Theresa (Gauthier) Henfer. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1952. On August 22, 1953, Alice married Robert Duprey; he preceded her in death on May 25, 1977. Alice married Ivan Gauthier on May 25, 1979; he preceded her in death on March 1, 1998. She was an active member of the V.F.W. Aux. and the D.A.V. Aux. in Two Rivers. Alice was a member of the French-Canadian and Friends Organization. She was a very good wife, mother and grandmother, a kind and generous person who was loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Duprey and her special friend Tim "Tippy" Tomchek, Two Rivers; three sons and one daughter-in-law: James and Ginny Duprey, Two Rivers, Eugene Duprey and his partner Joseph Gauthier, Milwaukee and Jon Duprey, Green Bay; four grandchildren: Rob (Emily) Ahlswede, Tanya (D.J.) Londo, Sarah (Mike) Nennig and Andrew Duprey; three great grandchildren: Hayden, Garret and Corbin. Alice is further survived by three step sons and step daughters-in-law: Phil and Kathy Gauthier, Edward and Donna Gauthier and Dennis and Susan Gauthier; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Joyce Dassey, New Orleans, Anne J. Gaudet, New Orleans, Mel Koeppe and Maggie Becker- Koeppe; and one brother and sister-in-law: John and Jean Henfer, Two Rivers. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alice was also preceded in death by a sister: Ruth Glandt as well as numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services for Alice will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M., led by Sr. Pat Touhey. The visitation will continue from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2013 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
