Anne Dickert age 97, of 1700 S. 18th St. Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center with her family by her side following a brief illness.
The former Anne Hagenow was born on November 3, 1915 in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Shupita) Hagenow. She grew up in the Town of Gibson attending the Riverview School at Fisherville. On October 21, 1936 she married Harold Dickert at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Harold preceded her in death on April 16, 1983. Anne was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Roger (Marilyn) Dickert, Mukwonago; Glenn (Mary) Dickert, Hartford; Gary (Kathy) Dickert, Tucson, AZ; one son-in-law: Richard Hagen, New Berlin; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 grt. grt. grandchchildren; one sister-in-law: Clara Hagenow, Manitowoc; one godson: Daryl Kliment, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. Anne was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Annie Hagenow; her husband: Harold Dickert; one daughter: Beverly Hagen; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Ludwig (Dorothy) Hagenow, infant twin brother: Edwin Hagenow, Alvin Hagenow; one sister and brother-in-law: Viola (Ervin) Polifka; one half brother: Harry Koldoff.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. The Rev. Nicholas Maglietto and Rev. Paul Schossow will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial would be appreciated for Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.
