Mary Ann Jadowski
Mary Ann Jadowski, age 69, of 4721 West Whitetail Court, Manitowoc died Saturday Morning, March 23, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family.
Mary Ann was born September 15, 1943 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Felix and Frances (Becker) Frozena. She is a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc class of 1961. Mary Ann married Roman Jadowski on August 21, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Following her first career as a mother to her young children, Mary Ann obtained her barber license from the Green Bay Technical School. She then joined her husband, Roman, as a barber at Captain's Chair Barber Stylists, Manitowoc for many years. As time went on she became a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Braden and Brooke and enjoyed an active life with them. Mary Ann and Roman enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Crooked Lake with family and friends. She is a member of St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc. During her life, Mary Ann had numerous interests, yet her singular devotion was family.
Survivors include her husband Roman, Manitowoc; one daughter and two sons-in-law: Connie & Steve Bielinski, Waukesha; John Carter, Manitowoc; two grandchildren: Braden & Brooke Bielinski; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Rev. Kenneth Frozena, Sherwood; Joseph & Helen Frozena, Manitowoc; Jerome & Cindy Frozena, Manitowoc; John & Mary Frozena, Sherwood; one sister and brother-in-law: Patricia & Thomas Bosi, Manitowoc; four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Leo Jadowski, Richard Jadowski and Todd & Barbara Jadowski, all of Manitowoc; George & Marlene Jadowski, CA; Maxine Frozena, Manitowoc; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Ann Carter, a brother Robert Frozena, two sisters-in-law Nancy and Linda Jadowski and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Stanley and Jeanette Jadowski.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (South 21st & Marshall streets). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with entombment to follow services at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet family and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (South 21st & Marshall streets) on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mary Ann's name to aide in cancer research.
