Harold Reimer Obituary

Reimer, Harold J.

Harold J. Reimer, age 87, a Manitowoc resident, passed away June 11, 2017 at Hannah Home, Manitowoc.

He was born April 30, 1930 in Whitelaw, son of the late Mike and Magdaline (Meidl) Reimer. Harold enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Korea from 1951 until 1953. On August 26, 1961 he married the former Carol Kaminski at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Harold was employed as an electrician installing milking systems with Braun Electric for over 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting model horses and tractors. He also loved the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his wife: Carol Reimer, Manitowoc; four children: Karen Reimer, Manitowoc, Ann Reimer, Manitowoc, Thomas Reimer, Green Bay, and Nancy Holder, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Alex, Andrea (Austin), and Ava; great-grandchildren: Gracie and Everly, and one more expected in November; three sisters: Margaret Ledna, Mary Reimer, and Betty Reimer; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Reimer and Marylou Reimer; and brothers-in-law: Lois and Paul Kerscher and Ron Kaminski. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Harold was preceded in death by his parents: Mike and Magdaline Reimer; His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Alex and Anna Kaminski; six brothers and three sisters-in-law; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; one brother-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Private family services will be held.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
