My sincere condolences to Danny's family. Danny and I grew up right down the street from each other on Mistletoe in Forest Cove and had lots of great memories from riding the bus home from school and skateboarding in Forest Cove. I am so sorry his life ended so young and that he had to go through such a terrible illness. I know that he is at peace now and pray that helps you in your time of grief.
Sincerely, Sheryl Moore Smith

Take comfort in knowing that Danny has a special place in many people's hearts. I grew up with Danny in Forest Cove, going to school with him from elementary school through high school. I will always remember his smile, his kindness, his sense of humor. I had the good fortune to hook up with Danny this past summer as we gathered with others from our HHS class of '76. Despite his ongoing battle and the toll it had taken on him physically, that smile was still there. I will always remember Danny, always remember that smile. My condolences to Danny's family and all who loved him.

A sad way to find friends again, so long out of touch. I am very sorry to learn of Danny's death. It is amazing that we learned about it at all. Bill and Doreen, you are in my prayers. I know there aren't words to comfort you at this time but I pray for comfort and peace for you both in these tough days ahead. Ann (Garland) Short - Sheldon, Iowa
