Julia A. Rehl, 75, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY. Born October 1, 1940 in Somerville, NJ, Julia lived in Hunterdon County, NJ before moving to Yonkers many years ago. She graduated from Hunterdon Central High School and St. Joseph's Hospital for Nursing in 1966. Julia was a nurse for the Hebrew Home for the Aged for many years. She was a woman of strong faith. Julia was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Yonkers and Word of Life Worship Center in Bronx, NY. Daughter of the late George L., Jr. and Elsie A. (Orashian) Rehl, Julia is survived by two brothers Edward Rehl of Ringoes, NJ and Louis Rehl of Phillipsburg, NJ and her special niece Jodi Rehl-Guiducci of Palmer Township, PA. She was also survived by many other nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Boaz. Julia was predeceased by her brother William Rehl in 2006. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2 PM at the Frenchtown Cemetery in Frenchtown, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
