Dec. 4, 1929 - July 22, 2014 The Graveside Service for Kenneth LeRoy Rossman, age 84, of Athens, AL; was held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Eddie Gooch officiating. Mr. Rossman passed away Tuesday July 22, 2014 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born December 4, 1929 in Ellwood, PENN; to John Rossman and Della Montgomery Rossman. He served 3 years the in U.S. Army Missile Command, and was retired from NASA after 32 years. Mr. Rossman is preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Rossman of 63 years of Athens, AL; and one son Kenneth D. Rossman of Atlanta, GA.

I was very sorry to learn of Ken's passing. We were close friends during his stint in the Army We were in the rocket research outfit in Ft. Bliss.Tx and Huntsville, Al from 1948 til 1951. We shared a lot of good times together I feel a deep loss at his passing. Verne Dawson, Saluda, NC..
