Hansen, David
David Lee Hansen March 21, 1953 - June 21, 2015 On June 21, 2015, David Lee Hansen, lost his battle with cancer. He was 62. Dave was born March 21, 1953, in Windem, Minnesota to Loren and June Hansen. He was raised in Odin, Minnesota, where he made many lifelong friends. After graduating from high school, he went to work in a local cannery. He left that job and joined the Navy. He was proud to serve this country on the USS Kitty Hawk. While in Oak Harbor, Washington, Dave met Jeanne. They were married on June 6, 1987, and they loved each other very much for the past 28 years. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Dave and Jeanne settled down in Nampa, Idaho. He worked at Circle K and Paul's IGA for many years. He loved to fix things and help out others. Dave was dedicated to his family and friends. He appreciated the smallest kindness and he had an amazing ability to remember the names of people he had met. He loved to make people smile or laugh. One of his favorite lines was, "You talking to me? " Dave didn't have children of his own, but he loved hanging out with the neighbor kids and their cousins playing catch and watching them grow into fine young men. Dave is survived by his wife Jeanne, his mother June, his sisters, Judy Shepard and Sharon Luther, and his brothers, Sanford and Tom Hansen. There will be a committal service at the Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in Eagle, Idaho. Processions will begin at 11:00 am, at the main gate. After the service, friends and family are invited to a casual lunch at their home in Nampa.

Hart, William - Caldwell
William Lee Hart September 11, 1943 - June 7, 2015 Bill passed after a year-long battle with a bowel obstruction, COPD, and dementia. After a prolonged VA hospital stay he moved into the Idaho State Veterans Home. Bill was born in Twin Falls but grew up in Nampa where he graduated from Nampa High in 1961. He was active in sports, student government and music. In his last year of HS the man that was his barber found out he played drums and asked him to try out/jam with his band. Bill had many happy memories of being one of the "the first" drummers for Paul Reverie and The Raiders. In 1964, Bill graduated with an Associate's degree from Boise Junior College and went on to earn his BS in Business and Industrial Management from San Jose State University in 1966. He put himself through both colleges working many different jobs. After college he moved to Alaska to join the Air Force Reserve. In Anchorage he met his wife Barbara of 47 years. Their honeymoon was driving from Portland, OR to Valdosta, GA for Bill's flight school. After flight school Bill was assigned to fly C-47's out of Clark AFB, Philippines as part of the 1867 Flight Checking Squadron (responsible for checking the navigation aids at all air bases in South Vietnam and Cambodia). While not a combat pilot, he did join the "Mach Busters Club" in flight school and was shot at so many times his plane was named "Old Patches". Bill received the Air Medal with seven oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service medals and several others. While an awful time in history, Bill and Barb had amazing memories and made life-long friends during that time. After Vietnam, Bill was assigned to Alaska Command at Elmendorf AFB. Bill was very proud of his service and served when many others did not. In 1973 Bill became a sales associate for the CB Finnegan Company. In 1981 he struck out on his own and formed "Bill Hart & Associates". Bill had various lines over the years and had both great success and great failure in business. He always was working though no matter what. In 2005, Bill and Barb retired to Caldwell Idaho. They spent several happy years travelling Idaho in their camper and spending time with family. Bill was a loving husband, loyal friend, and supportive father of his children; volunteering countless hours, attending all of their activities and became a second Dad to many of his children's friends. He loved summers with family and friends on Decatur Island, Seahawks football, fixing cars, his dogs, hunting and fishing, and music. He loved his wife and missed her terribly after her passing. He was a great dad. Bill is survived by his son Will Hart (grandson Harrison, granddaughter Ella) of Boise, ID - daughter Tisha Moulinet (son-in-law Nick, granddaughters Tessa and Isabel) of Austin, TX - sister Sally Davies of Lewiston, ID - brother and sister-in-law Roy and Karen Shaw of Lacey, WA. Services for Bill with Military Honors will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11am at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 2402 West Hill Road, Boise, ID 83702. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill to the Idaho State Veterans Home would be humbly appreciated (320 Collins Rd, Boise, ID 83702).
