Meadow Nickel-Greenough

2009 - 2010

Meadow Monroe Nickel-Greenough was born Nov. 6, 2009, in Nampa, and passed away Feb. 6, 2010. She was the daughter of Bettsie Claire Nickel and Wyatt Patrick Greenough. She also had two loving big brothers, Gavin and Domminick Nickel. Meadow had a very short life but during the time she was alive, she was a ray of sunshine, putting a smile on everyone's face.
The day she came into this world she made known her presence by letting us know there was nothing wrong with her voice box, that continued all that night until they gave her a bath in the morning, combed her hair, placed a little pink bow on top of her head, and placed her in her mom's arms, only then did she settle down and become content. Almost as if to say she just wanted to feel pretty.
Meadow will be remembered for her beautiful big blue eyes, her little round button nose, and the most beautiful smile you've ever seen in your life. Her hair was unique, it grew in like a horse shoe with a little bit of fuzz on the top. Her mom used to sing affectionately to her "little old man with beady little eyes".
Right before she passed, she came to life noticing people and music and smiling. There were a few songs that her mom sang to her that she really loved, especially "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles. She will be missed greatly.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
