Alice Marie Dixon, 90, of Parma, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremattion is under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
Alice Marie Dixon, born to Lida and Herman Hall in St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 18, 1917, the second of seven children. She married John R. Dixon, Nov. 9, 1935. They lived in Missouri, Indiana, Nevada and Idaho during their lives together. They had three children. Marie spent most of the last 20 years in Parma, living with her mother.
Marie is survived by her children, Patricia Thompson of Fruitland, Michael Dixon (Gloria) of Arizona, and Daniel Dixon (Tracy) of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Shorty Hall (Joyce) of Parma and Jerry Hall (Linda) of Maple Valley, WA; two sisters, Helen Harding of St. Louis and Rose Keller of Carson City, NV; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
Her parents, husband, a brother, a sister, a grandson, and son-in-law preceded her in death.
She will be missed by many.
