John E. Clover
John E. Clover, 32 passed away in Nampa on Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was born on February 5, 1980 to Patrick Clover and Jill Frans. He attended Nampa schools where he tried his hand at baseball, basketball and football until finding his talent was on a wrestling mat where he made many, many life long friends. He graduated from Skyview High School in 1998. John attended BSU for several semesters and became an avid Bronco football fan where he made many life long friends.
John went on to become a journeyman sheet metal worker and a PROUD member of Sheet Metal Local 55, most recently employed as a foreman with Hobson Fabrication in Boise.
Over the years John developed a passion for running. He participated in the famous "Race to Robie" every year as well as numerous other races, competitions and marathons, where he made many, many life long friends. No one has ever said they used to be a friend of John Clover. Once someone met John, they became a friend for life. He was a lot of things to a lot of people and being loyal topped the list.
John is survived by his mom Jill Frans; father and step mom Patrick and Jacque Clover; step dad Randy Baker; sisters Julie Baker and Jennifer Schlapia; ex-wife and dear friend Nicole Haro; two nephews Kodi Fisher and Justin Baker; one very special niece Kaelyn Frans; and his dogs Rosco and Lucy. John is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and several billion friends. The family would like to thank Damonn Barr for years and years of help and loving support.
In heaven, John joins his grandparents Donna and Kale Frans and Ray Baker; his brothers Jeff Baker and Jody Schlapia.
John was not really a flowery kind of guy so in lieu of flowers donations can be made to a cause that was near and dear to his heart at PANCAN.ORG
for research into pancreatic cancer.
