Judith Pipkin

Judith Ann Pipkin, 71 of Nampa, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at a local care center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Nampa Third Ward LDS chapel, 18463 Northside Blvd., Nampa.
A viewing will be held at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Arrangements are being provided by the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300.
Judy was born May 23, 1939, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Alfred Eugene and Blanche Wall Hazzard. She was raised and attended schools in Klamath Falls.
Judy worked for many years in the banking industry. She then made a career change and became a professional librarian. She managed the JR Simplot records center and library, and retired from the JR Simplot Company in 1998.
Judy had always loved music and singing and after her retirement she used her talent as a volunteer at several nursing facilities and at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed bringing happiness to other people.
Judy was an animal lover and always had pets of her own. She had a loving and giving nature. She never hesitated to help people in need. She was a very loyal friend and was always there for her friends and neighbors.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Robert Pipkin; her sons, Keith Fletcher, Jr., and Gary Fletcher, and her daughter Vicki Kelley; eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Michael and Rick Fletcher, and sister, Erlys Mac Naughten.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Nampa Care Rehab facility, Ashley Manor, Midland, and especially the Auburn Crest Hospice during the final days of Mom's life.
